The new baseball season starts today, so here are my predictions.
I’d love the Blue Jays to win the World Series. They have added some good talent to the team in the off-season and if they remain injury free for the whole season, they could win it all. However, I don’t think they will, they don’t have that kind of luck.
So, here goes.
American League:
East - Tampa Bay Rays
Central - Detroit Tigers
West - Texas Rangers
Wild cards - Toronto Blue Jays and one of Oakland/New York/Baltimore (probably New York they have all the luck and money)
National League:
East - Washington Nationals
Central - Cincinnati Reds
West - San Francisco Giants
Wild cards - Atlanta and either St Louis or Los Angeles
So for the post season Detroit to beat Texas in the AL and San Francisco to beat Atlanta in the NL. With Detroit reversing last years’s result and winning the Series.
